I want you to picture something for a moment.
I want you to imagine a parent who’s standing in their kitchen, looking at an almost empty pantry and wondering how they’re going to make it through the week.
For some people in our community, this scenario is a reality.
Through Agape’s Loaves of Love project, we’re placing full grocery boxes into the hands of families who need them most. Thanks to the Carroll County Memorial Hospital Foundation, we were able to begin, but now we need your help to keep it going.
I know sometimes people say, “Well, don’t they get food assistance already?” And yes, some families do.
What many don’t realize is that SNAP benefits often average only about six or seven dollars a day per person. With today’s grocery prices, that doesn’t always stretch to the end of the month. It doesn’t cover diapers. It doesn’t cover paper towels. It doesn’t cover the unexpected.
Sometimes families need a little help bridging the gap.
For just $50, you can sponsor a family of four through our Loaves of Love grocery boxes.
That’s not enabling. It’s strengthening. It’s loving your neighbor.
Matthew 25:35 says, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat.”
When we feed families, we’re not just filling stomachs, we’re answering Jesus.
So the question isn’t “Why should I give?”
The question is if we love Him, how could we not?
